Lesson Seven – Push and Pull
This science scheme of work for Key Stage Two gets the children to investigate and record some of the special ways of moving a selection of objects made from different materials using a range of forces.
The class can test, observe and illustrate how they might move objects made from different materials using either pushing or pulling forces.

Activities in this teaching pack include display posters to identify a selection of true and false statements about how forces work on different objects and a set of cards to select and record some of the special ways of using a range of forces to move objects.
The interactive presentation gets the children to explore some of the ways of moving objects using a range of different forces.
This lesson is part of a science scheme of work to get the children to practise conducting a range of fair tests to identify and compare different materials based on magnetism and friction that can occur between surfaces.
