Activities in this teaching pack include a shared reading text to identify and describe what Native American tribes believed about the creation of the world and a template to select and record the meaning behind an aspect of a creation story told by a Native American tribe.

The interactive presentation can be used to explore how to produce collages to reflect themes and ideas in stories about creation told by Native American tribes.

This lesson is part of a religious education scheme of work to get the children to investigate and illustrate some of the stories that have been told by different groups and communities about the creation of the world. There are teaching activities for shared learning, differentiated worksheets to support independent learning and interactive presentations to introduce concepts and key skills.
