Lesson Six – Football Games

Activities in this teaching pack include display posters to identify and explain how to teach different skills and actions in football to other pupils in the school and a worksheet to assess and review their abilities in performing different skills and actions when playing a game of football.
The interactive presentation can be used to explore how to develop and play small sided games to teach football skills to other pupils in the school.
This lesson is part of a physical education scheme of work to get the children to practise, develop and model a range of different attacking, possession and defending skills when playing a small sided team game of football. There are teaching activities for shared learning, differentiated worksheets to support independent learning and interactive presentations to introduce concepts and key skills.
