Unit H – Multiplication Numbers

This maths scheme of work for Key Stage Two gets the children to explore and illustrate the properties of numbers to support multiplication calculations including prime, square and cube numbers and multiplication facts to derive division quotients. The class can model how to use number facts to support calculations.

Explore and illustrate the properties of numbers that can support multiplication calculations including prime, square and cube numbers and multiplication facts that can be used to derive division quotients

Lesson One : Prime Numbers
Select, identify and record whether different numbers to one hundred can be classified as prime or composite numbers

Lesson Two : Square Numbers
