Lesson Four – Viking Families

Activities in this teaching pack include a shared reading text to identify and describe the daily life and routines of Viking families in the past and a template to select information to use when writing a diary entry as an historical character to describe life in the past.

This lesson is part of a history scheme of work to get the children to explore how the Vikings settled and built communities in Britain in the past by referencing their culture and traditions.
