This history teaching pack for Key Stage Two gets the children to explore how to identify and describe some of the ways that people were governed and ruled during the Bronze Age in Britain by chiefs and tribal leaders.
The class can practise composing and performing a play script to illustrate how bartering was used during this period in history to support trading between communities.

Activities in this teaching pack include display posters to identify and describe some of the different artefacts that were made and used during the Bronze Age from gold, a set of cards to explain special ways that people lived and worked during the Bronze Age and a shared reading text to explain how to compose a play script to illustrate trading between communities during this period in history.
