Lesson Four – Athens and Sparta

This history teaching pack for Key Stage Two gets the children to investigate, describe and compare different aspects of daily life between two city states in the past that were part of the Ancient Greek civilization.
The class can write journals describing the life of a soldier working in either the Athenian or Spartan armies in the past to make historical comparisons between each of the city states.
