Lesson One – Word Definitions

This English teaching pack for Key Stage Two gets the children to identify and record the correct spellings and matching definitions of a range of different words that contain the ie letter string.
The class can practise using some of the words with the matching letter string to describe places featured in the narrative poem of the Lady of Shalott by Alfred Lord Tennyson.
