What is Love

Activities in this teaching pack include a shared reading text to identify and describe figurative language used by a poet to express ideas about love in a poem by a significant poet, a set of cards to convert different similes into metaphors to describe love as preparation for writing a poem on the same theme and a worksheet for support ability levels to select figurative language to complete different example similes on the theme of love.
