Class Newspapers

This English scheme of work for Key Stage Two gets the children to identify and illustrate how to structure and format reports using journalistic writing to publish newspapers about things happening in the school. The class can explain how to present answers to key questions in their news reports.

Investigate and record how to compare the values of different decimal numbers by the positions of their tenths, hundredths and thousandths digits

Learn and recall the number facts in the three and four times tables to utilise when solving abstract and contextual problems involving multiplication and division calculations
