Circus Animals

Activities in this teaching pack include a shared reading text to identify and explain how to structure and format a discussion text to present arguments for or against an issue, a worksheet to select and list a range of different arguments for or against an issue about animal welfare and a template to compose a letter to the owner of circus in favour of or against performing animals.
The interactive presentation gets the children to explore how to write a discussion text to outline some of the arguments for and against an animal welfare issue.
