Lesson Two – Sketching Light and Shade
This art and design teaching pack for Key Stage Two gets the children to experiment using different ways to represent light falling across an object when sketching pictures of the body.

Download this teaching pack including a lesson plan, classroom activities and an interactive presentation to teach the children to experiment using different ways to represent light falling across an object when sketching pictures of the body
Activities in this teaching pack include a display poster to identify and describe techniques used by an artist when sketching different parts of the human body and a template to model and record how light might fall across an object when sketching.
