Explore and describe some of the different shapes, colours and textures used on historical artefacts of pots that might have been used for a range of functions

Lesson Two : Clay Friezes
Investigate and describe the design of Ancient Greek building decorations that were made from clay to use when producing example models

Lesson Three : Patterns and Shapes
Explore and model some of the different ways of working with clay to produce the design for an Ancient Greece tile showing an aspect of life in the past

Lesson Four : Pot Design
Select and illustrate the design for a clay pot reflecting Ancient Greek culture and stories that formed part of the civilization in the past

Lesson Five : Pot Handles
Practise adding different shapes to develop and refine the design of a pot reflecting life in Ancient Greece to show their special customs, traditions and stories

Lesson Six : Pot Decorations
Select and add a painted illustration and patterns to complete the design for a clay pot reflecting Ancient Greek themes and traditions
