Lesson Six – Stained Glass Windows

Activities in this teaching pack include display posters to explore the meaning of artwork used to illustrate stories told by Jesus from the Bible, a set of cards to identify what Jesus taught others using stories from the Bible as preparation for producing artwork and a template to describe a picture representing a story from the Bible told by Jesus as presented in artwork.
The interactive presentation can be used to explore how to design and produce artwork illustrating how Jesus taught other people using stories from the Bible.
This lesson is part of a religious education scheme of work to get the children to research and illustrate how the teachings of Jesus are presented in different stories from the Bible. There are teaching activities for shared learning, differentiated worksheets to support independent learning and interactive presentations to introduce concepts and key skills.
