Lesson Three – Holidays Yesterday

Activities in this teaching pack include display posters to identify and describe how families holidayed at the seaside in the past, a worksheet to list objects and events that families used and experienced on seaside holidays in the past and a template to use sentences and illustrations to describe what might have happened in the past when families holidayed at the seaside.
The interactive presentation can be used to explore and describe seaside holidays that families experienced in the past using photographs as primary sources.
This lesson is part of a history scheme of work to get the children to describe and compare how families enjoyed seaside holidays together in the past with similar events and experiences enjoyed by families today.
