Activities in this teaching pack include a set of display posters listing some of the different things that could be seen and experienced when visiting Edinburgh as the capital city of Scotland and a template to describe how a holiday souvenir can reflect and illustrate what makes life in Scotland special and distinct from other regions in the UK.

This lesson is part of a geography scheme of work to get the children to Identify the name and location of the four main countries in the UK and describe their matching capital cities and investigate the seas that surround each country.
