Nursery Rhyming Poems

This English scheme of work for Key Stage One gets the children to investigate and record the sequence of events, settings and characters that feature in some different nursery rhyme poems. The class can suggest other things that might happen in the narrative sequence in each poem.

The Cat and the Fiddle
