School Reports

This English scheme of work for Key Stage One gets the children to explain and model how to use answers to key questions to compose non-chronological reports about some of the different things that might happen in a school. The class can practise researching facts and information to use when composing their reports.

Select and compose reports of some different school events and experiences that can happen in a school to present as a television news report

New Classmates
Select and record information to answer key questions in example sentences to use in a non-chronological report about one of the pupils in the class

Investigate and record how to make and count models of objects to ten, twenty and thirty to match objects related to different types of vehicles
