This English scheme of work for Key Stage One gets the children to explain and model how to compose and punctuate sentences using capital letters and full stops correctly to describe spring events and experiences. The class can use the sentences when writing recounts and stories about the spring.

Spring Flowers
Practise writing and punctuating example sentences correctly to describe some of the different flowers that start growing during the spring season of the year

Parks and Playgrounds
Compose and punctuate sentences about some of the different events and experiences that can be completed at a playground location during the spring

Investigate and record how to make and count models of objects to ten, twenty and thirty to match objects related to different types of vehicles

Research and illustrate how the teachings of Jesus are presented in different stories from the Bible
