This computing scheme of work for Key Stage One gets the children to practise structuring and formatting different documents to make labels describing rooms and objects that can be found in family homes. The class can explain how a computer can be used to share and present different ideas on a specific topic.

Practise typing names for a range of household objects using different font colours and styles to make them clear and easy to understand when displayed as labels

Investigate and record how to change the size of fonts when typing some display labels for a range of different household objects
