This computing scheme of work for Key Stage One gets the children to practise and develop word processing skills to utilise when labelling and organising different objects related to farms and farming. The class can select effective font styles to produce labels for tools and equipment found on a farm.

Investigate how to identify and present special vocabulary words that can be used to label some of the different animals that live on a farm

Lesson Three : Buckets
Practise sorting and labelling different types of buckets into matching groups according to their matching materials, sizes and colours

Lesson Four : Farm Hats
Explore how to write and edit labels to describe the matching shapes, colours and sizes of different types of hats that can be worn for a range of purposes and functions

Lesson Five : Barn Boxes
Investigate how to select effective font sizes and colours to produce sets of labels for matching tools and equipment used on a farm

Lesson Six : Animal Labels
Explore how to design and produce a range of matching name labels for some different animals that can be displayed around a farm
