This assembly scheme of work for Key Stage One gets the children to explore how mother nature can provide nourishment, protection and support to all living things in different habitats and environments. The class can suggest how materials and resources can be harvested from the natural world for different purposes.

Autumn Harvest

Investigate and reflect on how people can harvest and utilise different materials from the sea to use for a range of purposes and functions in their lives
