Changing World

This assembly teaching pack for Key Stage One gets the children to identify and describe some of the changes to the natural world that can occur during the each of the four seasons of the year.

The group can explain how changes to the world during the four seasons can mirror some of the changes that might happen in their own families across the year.

Activities in this teaching pack include display posters to describe how some trees change during the four seasons of the year including spring blossom and autumn colours and shared reading texts to describe changes to the natural world in a season of the year using a poem with a patterned structure and read a prayer describing how families can change during the year.

The interactive presentation gets the children to explore some of the changes to the natural world that can occur during the four seasons.

This assembly can support development in learning how the world changes during the four seasons of the year and how each special time can affect individuals and families.
