Activities in this teaching pack include display posters to identify special vocabulary words that can be used to describe the appearance of different classmates and a template to select and record information to describe one of the pupils in the classroom.

The interactive presentation gets the children to explore how to describe, compare and record the appearance of some of the different pupils in the classroom.

This lesson is part of a curriculum topic scheme of work to get the children to identify and learn classroom routines and organisation by exploring and describing information and likes and dislikes about each of their classmates. There are teaching activities for shared learning, differentiated worksheets to support independent learning and interactive presentations to introduce concepts and key skills.
