Lesson Five – Fruit Smoothies

Activities in this teaching pack include display posters to identify and define vocabulary words that can be used to describe different foods, a set of cards to label different pieces of fruit that can be used when making some fruit smoothies and a template to select and record some of the different fruits that can be used when making special drinks.
The interactive presentation gets the children to explore and describe the colours of different fruits that can be used to make a flavoured drink.
This lesson is part of a curriculum topic scheme of work to get the children to identify and describe some of the different colours that can be used when buying, preparing and making foods for a range of meals.
