Unit B – Numbers

This numeracy teaching pack for the Foundation Stage gets the children to practise counting and labelling sets of different objects by writing and matching the numerals for each of the numbers to five. The class can make models and play games to practise counting different numbers of farm crops to five.

Lesson Two : Cabbages, Carrots, Potatoes
Match and write different numbers to five that have been recorded in numerical digits with the correct counted sets of vegetables

Lesson Three : Counting Threes
Practise counting and writing quantities of different types of vegetables that can match the number three recorded showing its numerical digit

Lesson Four : Counting Fours
Practise counting and writing quantities of different farm animals and tools and equipment that can match the number four recorded showing its numerical digit

Lesson Five : Counting Fives
Identify, count and write the correct numbers of different farm crops to match each of the numbers to five recorded in numerical digits
