Activities in this teaching pack include display posters to describe how to order vocabulary to record different sentences about flowers, a set of cards to build different sentences by ordering sets of words about flowers that could be displayed in a vase and a template to complete a sentence describing the colour, shape and size of a flower.

This lesson is part of a literacy scheme of work to get the children to identify and model how to build sentences on a range of different topics and themes by sequencing and ordering sets of matching vocabulary words.
