Unit A – Nursery Rhymes

This literacy scheme of work for the Foundation Stage gets the children to investigate the use of patterned language and rhyming in traditional nursery rhymes and practise segmenting words into individual phonemes. The class can devise short plays to illustrate the sequence of events in nursery rhymes.
