Lesson Three – T-shirt Designs

Activities in this teaching pack include display posters to identify and describe shapes that could be used for different t-shirt designs and templates to record different ways of sorting t-shirts into groups by their matching shapes, colours and patterns and design a t-shirt that is suitable for a specific occasion or event.
The interactive presentation gets the children to explore how to create a range of t-shirt clothing designs that can be worn for different occasions and events.
This lesson is part of a curriculum topic scheme of work to get the children to select and combine a range of different shapes, colours and patterns that can be used to design and print a t-shirt for a specific function or event. There are teaching activities for shared learning, differentiated worksheets to support independent learning and interactive presentations to introduce concepts and key skills.
