Spring Farming

This curriculum topic scheme of work for the Foundation Stage gets the children to identify and describe changes to farm animals that occur during the spring and jobs performed by the farmer during this season . The class can explain how farmers can look after the baby animals that are born on a farm.

Identify, describe and record some of the different ways of looking after lambs that are born on a farm during the spring season of the year

Describe and role-play some of the special jobs and actions that could be performed on a farm during the spring season of the year
