Lesson Two – Capital Letters

Activities in this teaching pack include display posters to identify different words that should begin with an initial capital letter, a set of cards to group different words that should begin with an initial capital letter and a worksheet to practise changing the correct letters in different names into the matching capitals.
The interactive presentation gets the children to explore how to type capital letters using a computer keyboard to record names of different classmates.
This lesson is part of a computing scheme of work to get the children to practise structuring and formatting different word processed documents to label a range of objects and locations around the classroom.
