English Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar Assessment

This English scheme of work for Key Stage One gets the children to assess abilities in spelling, punctuation and grammar based on the National Curriculum programmes of study for Key Stage One. The class can demonstrate proficiency when composing sentences with the correct spelling and punctuation.

English Year One SPAG Assessment Term Three Sentences
Assess abilities in identifying and recording how to add the correct punctuation to sentences on different topics that have been constructed as either statements or questions

English Year Two SPAG Assessment Term Three
Assess abilities in identifying and recording how to use the correct spelling and punctuation in sentences including working with plurals, homophones and suffixed roots
