Lesson One – Farm Crops

This religious education teaching pack for Key Stage One gets the children to practise identifying, sorting and comparing some of the different crops and foods that are grown and harvested on a farm.
The class can produce and display a model harvest basket to record some of the different crops that are collected and harvested by a farmer during the autumn season of the year.

Activities in this teaching pack include display posters to describe some of the different types of fruits and vegetables that are grown and harvested in the UK and a vocabulary word bank to identify and label some of the different crops that are grown and harvested on a farm on a model of a harvest basket.
The interactive presentation can be used to explore how to identify, sort and compare some of the different crops that are grown and harvested on a farm.
