Colours

This curriculum topic scheme of work for the Foundation Stage gets the children to identify, describe and name some of the special colour shades that can be seen in different parts of the world. The class can explore some of the colours seen in different types of food and drink and common weather patterns.

Food and Drink
Identify and describe some of the different colours that can be used when buying, preparing and making foods for a range of meals
