Friendship
This religious education scheme of work for Key Stage One gets the children to read and illustrate stories from the Bible told by Jesus about how to use different skills to support friends in a range of life situations and scenarios. The class can explain how Jesus gave guidance to his followers about friendship.

Investigate how to use ideas about relationships in a story from the Bible to suggest and record how to support friends in a range of different situations and scenarios
Lesson Four : Helping Others
Investigate and role-play dramatic scenes that feature in a story from the Bible that can illustrate a range of different friendship and relationship skills
Lesson Five : Zacchaeus
Practise using a story from the Bible to identify and record how Jesus taught some other people about how to give support to others in their lives
Lesson Six : Friend Guidebook
Explore how to compose and present entries for a class book to record some of the different skills that can be used to support friends in a range of scenarios
