Lesson Three – Safety Signs

This geography teaching pack for Key Stage One gets the children to investigate how to select and design some different road signs to display in places near the school to promote safety for pedestrians and vehicles.

The class can identify and explain the meaning behind different signs that might be displayed on or by a road in the local area and suggest how someone might follow the signs to stay safe.

Download this teaching pack including a lesson plan, classroom activities and an interactive presentation to investigate how to select and design some different road signs to display in places near the school to promote safety for pedestrians and vehicles
