Name and match a selection of letters of the alphabet to some different types of foods that might be eaten by a caterpillar based on the reading of a narrative story

Lesson Two : Munching Foods
Read and sequence each of the different parts of a narrative story about a caterpillar that uses patterned language to describe events experienced by the main character

Lesson Three : Caterpillar Menu
Identify and record initial phoneme sounds for different words naming foods and match the sounds to the correct letters of the alphabet

Lesson Four : Caterpillar Changes
Practise sequencing some different events from a story with patterned language to show how a caterpillar as the main character changes by the end of the narrative

Lesson Five : Hungry Caterpillar
Practise selecting and sequencing some alternative events that could happen in a story with patterned language about different foods that could be eaten by a caterpillar
