Farm Sounds
This music scheme of work for Key Stage One gets the children to select and practise different ways of playing a range of percussion instruments to represent some of the sounds that could be heard on a farm. The class can create a musical score to illustrate life on a farm.

Explore and model how to shake a selection of percussion instruments to create a range of different sounds that can be used to represent life on a farm
Lesson Five : Sound Symbols
Select and use a range of symbols to create a score for a musical composition representing some of the special sounds that can be heard on a farm

Explain and model how to play a range of percussion instruments in different ways to represent some of the sounds that can be heard on a farm
