Activities in this teaching pack include display posters to order some of the different events leading to the settlement of people in Britain in the past, a shared reading text to identify and describe the prehistory of Britain before settlement by the first people and a table display vocabulary word bank to identify questions that can be used to research life in the past.

The interactive presentation can be used to explore and sequence historical events leading up to the settlement of the first people in prehistoric Britain.

This lesson is part of a history scheme of work to get the children to investigate and record how different aspects of life in prehistoric Britain developed and changed during the Stone Age.
