Lesson One – School Journey

This geography teaching pack for Key Stage Two gets the children to identify and describe some of the different hazards and dangers that might be experienced during a journey to school by walking or using other forms of transport.

The class can explain and model how to produce a map of the local area using a colour key to record traffic and road dangers that can be seen in the school’s neighbourhood.
