Activities in this teaching pack include a shared reading text to describe the content and structure of a traditional story poem of a nursery rhyme, a set of cards to practise building a range of different cvc words that begin with the same initial sound and a worksheet to play a game to identify and match different words beginning with the same initial sounds.
