Lesson Two – Story Sentences

Activities in this teaching pack include a set of differentiated worksheets to match pairs of sentences used to describe story characters in the third and first person for support ability levels and convert and compose sentences between the third and first person for core and support ability levels.
The interactive presentation gets the children to explore how to convert a range of sentences from different story genres between the third and first person.
This lesson is part of an English scheme of work to get the children to explore narrative structures and use of vocabulary by an established children’s writer, identify and spell words with silent letters and convert sentences between the third and first person.
