Easter Egg Puzzles

This art and design scheme of work for all year groups gets the children to practise using art and design and maths skills to produce a range of puzzles on the theme of Easter eggs using matching and themed shapes. The class can use modelling and printing techniques when producing their egg puzzles and shapes.

Investigate and record how to complete and create a range of puzzles by cutting and arranging Easter eggs into different shapes

Easter Egg Designs
Select, describe and record a range of designs for different Easter egg wrappings by using special combinations of patterns and colours

Egg Tangrams
Investigate and record how to create a range of different Easter themed shapes by cutting and arranging each of the parts into a matching egg shape

Egg Reflections
Explain and model how to use some different 2D shapes to complete and create example symmetrical designs on a range of wrappings for Easter eggs
