Easter Wreath

Activities in this teaching pack include display posters to identify and describe different materials that can be found during the spring, a shared reading text to follow a set of instructions about how to make an Easter decoration, templates to create shapes of flowers and leaves using paper materials to decorate an Easter wreath and a vocabulary word bank to select different words phrases to decorate and add to model wreaths illustrating the main themes of Easter.

The interactive presentation can be used to explore how to combine a range of natural and paper materials to make a wreath celebrating Easter.

This lesson is part of an art and design scheme of work to get the children to practise shaping and combining a range of different materials to produce decorations with matching patterns and shapes to celebrate Easter.
