Basketball
This physical education scheme of work for Key Stage Two gets the children to practise and develop the skills needed to pass, dribble and shoot a basketball as part of a team game. The PE lesson plans get the class to teach basketball skills to other pupils to reinforce their understanding and abilities.

Lesson One : Passing Skills
Practise different ways of controlling a ball when passing and receiving during a team game of basketball
Lesson Two : Dribbling
Develop and practise the range of skills needed to move a basketball around the court when dribbling
Lesson Three : Court Movements
Practise dribbling and passing skills to move around the court when playing a game of basketball
Lesson Four : Shooting Skills
Develop and refine some of the different skills that are needed to score baskets as part of an invasion game
Lesson Five : Team Games
Practise different skills in passing, dribbling and shooting as part of a team basketball game
Lesson Six : Skills Training
Demonstrate and teach passing, dribbling and shooting basketball skills to other classes in the school
