Unit D – Radio Commercials

This English scheme of work for Key Stage Two gets the children to practise using persuasive language to write newspaper adverts and radio commercials to sell houses, explore and use spellings of words that are near homophones and practise writing expanded noun phrases.

Lesson Three : Property Listing
Investigate and record how to use persuasive language and special vocabulary words in example sentences to produce an advert for a house that is for sale

Lesson Four : Advert Vocabulary
Select and list some matching synonyms for different words that can be used in an example radio commercial describing a house that is for sale
