Activities in this teaching pack include display posters to identify different countries in Europe and where to add brackets to indicate parenthesis in a sentence about a European country, a set of cards to select different facts to use with brackets in sentences about particular countries in Europe and a worksheet to identify and record where to add brackets to punctuate a qualifying statement in a sentence about European countries.
The interactive presentation gets the children to explore how to use brackets to add extra facts and information to sentences about different countries in Europe.
