Activities in this teaching pack include a set of worksheets to plan and record how to solve a range of design problems for a family home to match success criteria including a holder for a remote control, a bowl to provide food for a pet, a tool to scrape and clean dirty shoes and a stand for a computer tablet.
This lesson is part of a design technology scheme of work to get the children to practise working with a range of different materials and construction techniques to create products to match selected success criteria. There are teaching activities for shared learning, differentiated worksheets to support independent learning and interactive presentations to introduce concepts and key skills.
