Activities in this teaching pack include worksheets to select, list and explain some of the changes and improvements that could be made to a family garden and templates to record the current layout of a garden and the selected changes to match success criteria when adding new features and plants.
This lesson is part of a design technology scheme of work to get the children to practise working with a range of different materials and construction techniques to create products to match selected success criteria. There are teaching activities for shared learning, differentiated worksheets to support independent learning and interactive presentations to introduce concepts and key skills.
