Lesson Four – Sunrise and Sunset

The interactive presentation can be used to explore how to mix a range of special colour shades to reflect different times of the day in artwork.
This lesson is part of an art and design scheme of work to get the children to develop and practise different painting techniques when creating a landscape portraying a scene in the local area as part of the school neighbourhood. There are teaching activities for shared learning, differentiated worksheets to support independent learning and interactive presentations to introduce concepts and key skills.
